We had a fantastic stay right by the seafront, in a clean hotel room with a nice sea view. The hotel facilities were exceptional, from the pool and sauna to bicycles and cars for rent. We loved the fact that we could borrow mats and floating mattresses to enjoy the sea as well as the sunbeds from the hotel, which were included in the location. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and wine tasting, and the staff was very friendly, making us feel like family.

The hotel was fantastic! Staff were wonderful - even though we were staying overnight, we were offered an upgrade to the honeymoon suite for a TINY cost...well worth it. The room was amazing, the bathroom lovely. It was a shame to leave the next day - would have loved a few days here. The restaurant served beautiful food as well, couldn't recommend this place more highly.

We traveled for more than 3 weeks in Croatia. Stayed in 10 possibly more hotels/pensions during this period. The Boutique Marco Polo in Gradac was the best. The location is beautiful, the off season price (November) is right, but the service, personal attention, willingness to assist and all with a smile, is better than excellent. We were the only guests for that evening (we were there for one night) and upgraded to the suite with lovely balcony looking out over the Adriatic coast. Certainly put us in a positive mood!! The attitude is: "We are not using it, we might as well"! (The suite) Paid Euro 70.00 The breakfast is delicious with great variety even though we were the only guests at the time. Breakfast, parking and wifi were included in the price. I have to stress, we travelled very late in the season!

I had such a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel like family. The food and wine were exceptional, and the location right by the beach was perfect. I loved lounging on the sunbeds and borrowing mats and floating mattresses from the hotel. The facilities, including the pool, sauna, bicycles, and car rentals, were top-notch. My room was large, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. I couldn't have asked for a more luxurious and comfortable stay.

I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends. It was a truly amazing experience.

The friendly staff and the very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is freshly renovated and has all the amenities you need. It's location next to the seaside was great that after breakfast We could go to the beach and to our room with ease. The resturart in the hotel had gourmet food and had a truely croation flavor.

We were on our way to Hvar Island, and stayed at the Hotel Marco Polo to see the seaside town of Gradac and for the convenience to the ferry to Hvar. We were greeted by the owners who were delightful and we enjoyed our stay very much. They have a lovely seaside restaurant, too, where I had the best mussels I have ever eaten.

The hotel's location along the beach promenade provided stunning views from the restaurant. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the spacious rooms were clean and well-furnished. The breakfast had a great selection of items such as cheese, anchovies, yogurt, cereals, and fresh homemade jam.

The Wi-Fi was unreliable and often didn't work, even in the lobby.

Loved the cozy rooms and breathtaking views. The food in the restaurant was delicious and there was a lot of variety. The location was perfect, close to the beach and other local attractions. The staff was friendly and very attentive which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also enjoyed the complimentary services offered such as bike rentals and shuttle service to the nearby airport.

We didn't quite enjoy the noise from the nearby highway at night as it disturbed our sleep at times. the pillows were a bit too firm which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Location right on beach fantastic. Restaurant has seating in hotel and on beach side of promenade, both great settings. Owner comes out to chat with guests each night which is nice.

No real complaints about hotel itself, rooms are nice without being great. Parking can be tough if you don't reserve one and roads are narrow, small car recommended. Beach is OK, but tiny and summer is busy so get your spot early.

Location of the Hotel was very next to the seaside. We enjoyed the beach above all. We hadn't do that better previously. The food was delicious and we couldn't stop having all the meals failing to fulfill our plans of dieting.

The excursions for exploring some other parts of Makarska Riviera were not well-organized.
